Hosted by Waterford Distiller Ian O’Brien, BAR 1661 will be taking you through the influence of Winemaking in whiskey. Showcasing a range of their whiskeys from peated to biodynamic. Their barleys are grown using the terroir methodology (primarily used in winemaking), which is a 3D interaction on a plant of soil, microclimate and site.
The tasting will include, Grattansbrook 1.1 (UK Single Farm Exclusive), Fenniscourt 1.1 (Peated), Organic 2.1, Biodynamic 1.1, The Cuvée. Ticket price includes 5 whiskey samples and a Waterford cocktail on arrival.
