The new Method and Madness range from Irish Distillers showcases innovation in the Irish whiskey sector. This single malt is initially matured in ex-Bourbon barrels and is part finished in French Limousin oak casks. Bottled at 46% ABV and retails for €79.

When the four whiskeys in the Method and Madness
range were released it may have been one of the others that stole the show, but that leaves this little cracker for the rest of us. It great to see innovation and Irish Distillers continue to lead on that front and its clearly
evident here with the use of French Limousin oak casks.

Micheal Foggarty
Michael is co-owner of L Mulligan Whiskey Shop and L Mulligan Grocer. He has over 20 years involvement in the whiskey industry. He founded the Irish Whiskey Society in 2009 and in 2014 became the first person in Ireland to be awarded World Whisky Ambassador of the Year at the World Whisky Awards.
