Greg Dillon Notes

Even the nose is thick… fresh fruits, lots of apples, caramel, hint of vanilla oak. Very, very nice.

Fantastic palate; lots of fresh apples, pears, wine notes,
butterscotch, red cherries, mango, melon, some hints of fruit cake, like a basket of fruity brilliance being wrapped in cayenne and white pepper spices. Creamy, thickens in the mouth as you sit with it – a chewing whiskey.

Medium length, spices carry through along with hints of
fruit. Now, where’s the next drop?

So much flavour; those fruits, spices, creamy notes are utterly brilliant – I went into this dram expecting
a lot from it, but man did it deliver. Great work, likely from some quite diverse cask inputs into the blend.

Michael Foggarty Notes

There is a good dollop of Oloroso swishing around, a fruit and nut chocolate bar glides past.

Mouth coating and chewy, the sultanas and hazelnuts from the chocolate bar are less pronounced here but the cocoa is in abundance. There is a waft of creamy cigar smoke tingling the taste buds.

Medium length. As the palate dries the fruits become more evident.

Not your usual full forward sherry punch but much lighter and slightly more elegant.
