Greg Dillon Notes
Nose:
Caramac chocolate bars I recall from my childhood made of alternating caramel and wafer layers, covered in milk chocolate. There is a ripe fruitiness here too, pears specifically
Palate:
Finish:
Overall:
definitely a whiskey to buy and have in the house, but I could have spent hours with the nose.
Michael Foggarty Notes
Nose:
and pear much like it sibling.
Palate:
Prickly heat almost like a fizzy drink as it glides across the palate. Very citrusy with some light raspberry tones. The classic pots still element arrives at the end.
Finish:
Overall:
Sometimes you shouldn’t write tasting notes for whiskeys, it’s almost better to just sit back and crack open the bottle and enjoy in one’s own company. This is a whiskey for that moment, no sharing, it’s all mine.
