Made from rich Caribbean molasses and brought to life entirely on Achill Island, this small-batch Irish rum is fermented, distilled & matured on Ireland’s western edge. Aged 2 years in Widow Jane bourbon barrels and finished in White Hag imperial stout casks that once held rum. The result is a smooth, gently sweet rum with notes of chocolate, caramel, and soft rounded warmth. The spirit of two islands in every drop.
Bottled at 40%ABV. Retailing at €43.
Official Tasting notes
Nose
Soft caramel and warm molasses lead into hints of chocolate, toasted sugar, and vanilla.
Palate
A silky mouthfeel carries natural sweetness and chocolate-driven warmth from the stout cask. A mild bourbon influence lifts the sweetness without overpowering. A warm, indulgent profile.
Finish
Long, mellow, and sweetly lingering, with notes of cocoa, caramel, and soft toffee.
