Celtic Whiskey Shop celebrates 20th anniversary
For those who have followed Irish whiskey for long enough to remember, the Celtic Whiskey Shop was at the very hub of what then was a small but enthusiastic group of whiskey lovers. The role that Celtic Whiskey Shop played in the development, promotion and support of Irish whiskey cannot be overstated. There are many in the industry who began their careers in the industry thanks to their experience of working there. Celtic Whiskey Shop has been, and continues to be, not only a store to purchase whiskey, but a source of knowledge and enthusiasm from the team. They have supported established producers, new starters and consumers. They have brought us The Irish Whiskey Awards, Whiskey Live Dublin, Celtic Whiskey Auctions and in doing so helped spread the word. Of course, the charitable aspect of Celtic Whiskey Shop does not go unnoticed with over €300,000 raised.

As well as doing many exclusive single cask releases with all the leading distilleries, Celtic Whiskey has its own Celtic Cask and The Celt whiskey brands.Celtic Cask has now released 45 different single cask offerings, with Celtic Cask Triìocha a Cuìig (35) 1999 21 Year Old Oloroso Cask Finish winning Ireland’s Best Whiskey in 2021.
An integral part of the Irish Whiskey industry, it organizes and hosts Ireland’s premier drink event, Whiskey Live Dublin which recently had its 8th show at the RDS with over 100 exhibitors showing their drinks to over 4500 whiskey & spirit aficionados and enthusiasts.
The Celtic Whiskey team also run the annual Irish Whiskey Awards which is Ireland’s main Whiskey & Irish Spirits competition.
Together with the help of suppliers and customers, Celtic Whiskey have managed to raise over €300k for charities over the years including Mary’s Meals, Down Syndrome Dublin, Down Syndrome Ireland, Debra Ireland and the Kerry Parents & Friends Association.
