J.J. Corry Irish Whiskey announce crowd sourced blend, ‘The Lock In’
Social distancing – try crowd funding
Irish Whiskey Bonder J.J. Corry Irish Whiskey have announced that they will be opening up their blending process through a new online Crowd Sourced Blending initiative. Fans of J.J. Corry will have the opportunity to sign up online to participate in an open sourced blending and give their input into the next J.J. Corry Bonder’s Blend which will be named ‘The Lock In’.
Founder Louise Mc Guane said
“I’ve watched with fascination as the global whiskey community has taken to sharing drams and stories online whilst in isolation. We have a community of dedicated J.J. Corry fans and normally we get to meet with them in person as we travel the world telling our story. That’s not possible right now, so instead we are bringing our blending process into their living rooms and engaging with our fans by getting them directly involved in the blending process.”
There will be limited availability for participants from the public and those interested can sign up to the J.J. Corry Irish Whiskey mailing list via their website www.jjcorry.com to receive further information on how to apply [ Click Here ]. The successful applicants will be sent samples of proposed blends and will be able to vote on the direction they would like the blend to take. They will also have input to the label design. Once all votes are cast, the ‘The Lock In’ blend will be scaled up in a live stream online so that consumers have full transparency of the process. J.J. Corry ‘The Lock In’ will be made commercially available online once bottled.
