A collaboration between James J. Fox and Teeling Whiskey
James J. Fox of Grafton Street, Dublin, have announced the launch of the first ever Single Cask Teeling Blackpitts Irish Whiskey. This limited-edition whiskey is a collaboration between James J. Fox and Teeling Whiskey, made from peated single malt that was distilled in Teeling Distillery in 2016, and has matured exclusively in a PX Sherry cask from one of the most renowned bodegas in Jerez.
Cask No. 29694 was selected from the team at James J. Fox Dublin and bottled at cask strength of 60.5%, with a yield of just 294 bottles.

The Teeling Blackpitts Single Cask Irish Whiskey will be launched on August 16th, 2023, and retail for €120. It will be available exclusively through the James J. Fox Dublin store on 119 Grafton Street, and online on www.jamesfox.ie.
Official Tasting Notes
Colour
Clean and bright hue of copper, changing to rose gold in the light.
Nose
Intense, ripe stone fruit, marzipan, tobacco leaf and a whiff of bonfire smoke in the distance.
Taste
Citrus oil, orange pith turning into orchard fruits and cinnamon, in a cloud of peat smoke.
Finish
Never-ending. A rollercoaster of orange bitters combined with peat smoke, which becomes all prevailing, until the bitters return and go on and on…
