Kentucky Bourbon Barrel, a subsidiary of Independent Stave Company, is expanding operations with the opening of a cooperage facility in Ireland. The company will begin doing business in Newbridge, County Kildare, under the name Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ireland from today, September 1, 2021.

Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Prepares to Expand Operations into Ireland
Kentucky Bourbon Barrel, a subsidiary of Independent Stave Company, is expanding operations with the opening of a cooperage facility in Ireland. The company will begin doing business under the name Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ireland on September 1, 2021. The facility is located near the town of Newbridge, in County Kildare, about an hour west of Dublin.
Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ireland will provide a direct supply of high-quality, ready-to-fill used barrels to the Irish and UK spirits industries. Used spirit and specialty barrels will be received, inspected, and repaired at the Newbridge facility before being shipped to customers. Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ireland will also represent the new barrel and oak alternative portfolios of their sister companies around the world, which will bring new products and innovation into the market.
