Having previously hit it off with Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition, the team in Midleton created a new beer mate based on a zesty IPA. Launched in September earlier
this year, the trial run of 3,000 bottles of Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition in the domestic market was a runaway success. So much so that it is now being launched
worldwide.
Dave Quinn, Master of Whiskey Science in Midleton Distillery, said: “It’s great to see the range growing so that more craft beer and whiskey fans alike can experience Jameson Caskmates”. Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition is bottled at 40% ABV and in Ireland retails for €38.
The team in Midleton have been enjoying continued sales growth spearheading the resurgence of Irish whiskey worldwide. This quarter they have been busy with new releases: numerous Powers Single Cask editions, the annually anticipated Midleton Very Rare, Greenspot Chateau Montelena, Release 2 of the Dair Ghaelach series featuring Irish oak finish from Bluebell Forest, single cask strength Redbreasts and the second batch of Method and Madness Single Pot Still.
