“We are delighted to be awarded Europe’s leading distillery tour for the second year in a row. For over three decades our Jameson visitor experiences – Bow St. in Dublin and Midleton, Co. Cork – has been at the forefront of the domestic tour and travel industry. In fact, the combined visitor experiences welcomed 500,000 guests in the past 12 months, showing the continued strength of one-of-a-kind whiskey experiences in Ireland. Guests from the United States comprised the most visitors to Jameson Brand Homes last year, with almost half of all guests visiting from North America. Jameson continues to attract whiskey fans from across mainland Europe, with visitor numbers from Germany, France and the UK all slightly up versus the previous year.

“Visitors want to engage with our whiskeys through unique shared experiences. Jameson Distillery Bow St. and Jameson Distillery Midleton brings our audience on a journey, engaging all five senses through audiovisual aided storytelling from a Jameson Brand Ambassador, aromas, hands-on experiences and, of course, product sampling,” added Hughes.
