For the first time since March Roe & Co have opened their doors to visitors and have issued the following press release.

Located in the former Guinness Power Station in the heart of Dublin’s buzzing Liberties district, Roe & Co is a brand that lives and breathes creative reinvention. And what better chance to demonstrate that than during this phase of global transition. As such, Roe & Co have adapted their Distillery experience to ensure they can welcome people back with a range of exciting, uniquely tailored offerings. While the Distillery team have taken all necessary precautions to ensure a safe, responsible experience for guests, fun and flavour are at the centre of every aspect of the Roe & Co visitor experience, which will transport guests on a journey of taste and discovery.

As many tried their hand at bartending at home during lockdown, Roe & Co is now offering guests a chance to learn the ropes and refine your cocktail making skills. The Roe & Co Whiskey Distillery offers a fun, interactive and engaging Cocktail Workshop Experience, suitable for whiskey buffs and cocktail enthusiasts alike.  Sip on the unique blend of Roe & Co and explore the five key pillars of flavour by crafting your own cocktail. Perfect for those looking for unique ways to reunite with friends, the Cocktail Workshop Experience can accommodate up to six people per session and is available to book here.

If guests prefer to leave the cocktail making to the professionals, they are welcome to enjoy one of Roe & Co’s delicious World Class cocktails, either in the showstopping Power House Bar or in the brand-new Cocktail Village. In the Spirit of Reinvention, Roe & Co have designed an innovative, immersive cocktail garden pop-up, just in time to catch the tail end of summer. The Roe & Co Cocktail Village will host everything from mini-cocktail masterclasses to whiskey tastings in upcycled shipping container pods, and offers a variety of Roe & Co summer cocktails to enjoy in the sun!

Roe & Co have also teamed up with Niall Sabongi, who will bring his food truck experience, the Salty Buoy, to the Cocktail Village on Thursdays and Fridays from 4:30pm – 9pm. Having gained well-deserved notoriety for his brilliant offering at The Seafood Café by Niall Sabongi, Niall will be on hand with his latest venture, the Salty Buoy, to serve up delicious bites to perfectly accompany flavourful Roe & Co cocktails; think lobster rolls, grilled prawns and hake kiev! This exciting seafood experience is available at €20 per person.

Alternatively, guests can step inside The Power House Bar and enjoy a cocktail from the carefully curated Drinks Manual, where each cocktail is named after a former worker of the Old Guinness Power Station, a nostalgic nod to the building’s past.

Nial Molloy, Experience Operations Manager at the Distillery said:

“After closing our doors to the public back in March, we took the time as an opportunity to create something unique that delivered on people’s thirst for amazing experiences, right here in Ireland! By leaning into the areas that the distillery is most famous for – our spirit of reinvention and delicious cocktails – working with our friends like Niall Sabongi, we’re excited to welcome people to discover the distillery as the home of cocktail exploration!”
