Walsh Whiskey Releases 11th Edition of The Irishman Vintage Cask
11th Release of rare, super-premium cask strength (54% ABV) whiskey limited to just 2,346 bottles worldwide. Walsh Whiskey has released the 2019 vintage of The Irishman Vintage Cask, a rare cask strength Irish whiskey expression. This year’s vintage is limited to 2,346 bottles worldwide. Each bottle is uniquely numbered and signed by the company’s co-founder and Managing Director – Bernard Walsh. The Irishman Vintage Cask 2019 edition is the 11th release since 2008 when it was the first triple-distilled Cask Strength #Irishwhiskey released in over half a century.
The Irishman Vintage Cask is a unique marriage of Single Pot Still & Single Malt, matured in first-fill bourbon casks, non-chill-filtered and cut to 54% ABV. It was bottled in July 2019 and is presented in an elegant wooden cask, with a dated certificate personalised by Mr Walsh. The Recommended retail price is €130/ US$140/ STG£110. Tasting Notes
Nose: Notes of cinnamon, clove and sweet vanilla blossom.
Taste: Milk chocolate, crème caramel, a medley of summer fruits and cracked black pepper.
Finish: A long and satisfying finish.
