West of Ireland whiskey-makers Lough Mask Distillery are holding an Open Day for all whiskey-lovers on Saturday the 25th of February from 3pm until 6pm. The Open Day is an opportunity for local people to see at first-hand what is involved in the operation of a micro-distillery.

Based in the Mayo Gaeltacht of Tourmakeady, the distillery sits at the foot of the Partry Mountains, on the shores of Lough Mask. Guests can make a day of it by spending some time in this beautiful area, visiting attractions such as the Tourmakeady waterfall or talking a walk on the various trails in the vicinity of the distillery.

Intending guests are asked to let the distillery know they will be attending, by emailing john@loughmaskdistillery.com. For those who can’t make it on the day there’s always another time. The distillery is open for tours throughout the year. These can be booked in advance on our website at www.loughmaskdistillery.com

Lough Mask Distillery operates on the shores of Lough Mask, in the Co Mayo Gaeltacht of Tourmakeady in the West of Ireland. Operating since 2016, it produces gin, vodka and whiskey. In addition, it provides tours for visitors to the distillery.
